Who we are
GR Studio CV Builder is operated by GR Studio (grstudio.site). For privacy questions, contact us via the website.
The short version
Your CV is written and stored in your own browser. We do not create user accounts, and we do not upload or keep your CV content on our servers. When you export a PDF, the file is created on your device through the browser print dialog.
What data is processed
- CV draft: name, contact details, photo (if you add one), summary, experience, education, skills, and other fields you type. Saved in your browser with
localStorageso you can refresh without losing work. - Language preference: English or Norwegian, also saved in your browser.
- No account data: we do not ask for login, password, or email signup to use the builder.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Processing happens on your device so you can use the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and where needed Art. 6(1)(f) for essential local preferences). You control the content. Clear the draft in the builder, or clear site data in your browser settings, to delete local copies.
Where data is stored
CV drafts stay on your device. They are not sent to GR Studio servers for storage or analysis. Hosting and delivery of the website may involve infrastructure providers (for example the host that serves the app files). Those providers see normal technical request data such as IP address and browser type when pages load, which is typical for any website.
Fonts
To show the design and CV typefaces, we load fonts from Bunny Fonts (bunny.net), a privacy-oriented font CDN. Your browser requests font files from Bunny when needed. We do not use Google Fonts for this site.
Cookies
The CV builder does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Essential local storage is used for your draft and language choice. If a cookie appears from the hosting platform, it is not used by us to profile you for marketing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet). Because CV data stays in your browser, the practical way to erase it is to use Clear in the builder or remove the site data in your browser.
Children
The service is meant for people preparing job applications. It is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
